More than 100,000 people are expected to participate in multi-company training programmes approved by the Cyprus Human Resources Development Authority (Anad) during the first half of 2026. The programmes will be delivered by certified vocational training centres and aim to strengthen skills across the workforce, helping businesses improve productivity, competitiveness and resilience.

The training will cover all sectors of the economy and a wide range of professions. Key areas include business management, new technologies, innovation, digital skills, artificial intelligence, green and blue economy skills, renewable energy, energy efficiency, occupational safety and health, and business continuity. Digital training will range from basic skills to advanced fields such as robotics, while some courses will be tailored to specific professions.

The programmes are divided into three categories. The largest group consists of regular multi-company programmes, covering around 95,000 participants with funding of €22.9 million, aimed mainly at upgrading employee skills and supporting unemployed people back into work. A second category includes specialised programmes of vital importance for managerial and scientific staff, training 7,000 people with €11 million in funding. The third category αφορά continuing training for trade union officials, involving 2,800 participants with a budget of €0.2 million. Applications are submitted through the Ermis platform, with further information available from Anad's website and public employment offices.
