The village of Lofou is only 26 kilometers northwest of Limassol. It is located in the district of Limassol, at an average altitude of 780 meters and is bordered by the villages of Pera Pedi and Agios Therapon. The village was constructed during the Arab invasions, when the locals were compelled to flee the shore for their safety.
Lofou is constructed like an amphitheater with the streets being made from cobblestone. The village’s traditional charm changed when the streets got paved with plates. Most houses today have been renovated to their original state. The village is also home to the Olive mill museum where the equipment for making olive oil and storage facilities are being displayed.

A natural hiking trail is also to be found in the area, as well as a picnic site named Profitis Elias. There are also several taverns, coffee shops and a brewery available in the settlement.
