Prodromos is a community that is located around 60 kilometers to the northwest of Limassol city in the Marathassa region of Cyprus. It is the tallest village on the island of Cyprus, as it is situated at an average elevation of 1,380 meters above sea level. Its region has a rugged landscape, and the eastern region's elevation reaches 1,900 meters. Small Diarizos tributaries that flow in the region, divide the landscape.
It is connected to the village of Pedoulas to the north, the monastery of Panagia Kykkos to the northwest, the village of Lemithou to the west, the village of Pano Platres to the southeast, and the village of Paliomylos to the southwest. The distance between it and Troodos Square is around 8 kilometers, while the distance to Nicosia is about 85 kilometers.
