Meneou is a seaside village in the district of Larnaca about 8 kilometers southwest of the city of Larnaca. Meneou has excellent transportation options by road. To the north-west it is connected to the village of Dromolaxia, to the north-east to the city of Larnaca, to the south-west to the village of Kiti, and to the south-east to the coastal area. It is also connected to the southwest with the village of Pervolia. Currently the village has 1,248 residents (World Population Review). The administrative area of the village of Meneou includes the southernmost part of the Larnaca Salt Lake.

A thicket of eucalyptus trees to the west and infinite rows of towering cypress trees to the north frame the salty, coastal lake, which is only 50 meters from the sea.
