These miners used small trains to descend into the mines and collect dirt, which they then brought back to the surface to be washed and sorted. Over time, this mining activity became a way of life for the people of Kapedes, who relied on it for their livelihoods. However, as technology advanced and new methods of mining were developed, the demand for copper from this area decreased, and the mine was eventually abandoned by its owner.
