Who said that winter in Cyprus cannot be as awesome as summer? Let’s have a look at how Cyprus is in the winter time and what activities are available on this beautiful island during colder months. The coldest months of Cyprus’ winter, are January and February. Other Mediterranean islands typically close around this time of the year, but Cyprus does not. Winter temperatures on the mountains, can drop, allowing people to practice their skiing skills. Olympus, a peak over 2000 meters high, has beautiful winter snow, and there are facilities open from January to March. But don’t get us wrong, the temperature allows you to still take a jump in the sea and enjoy a quiet swim if you wish.
