Over €10m invested in infrastructure and community projects in Paralimni

Projects worth more than €10 million have recently been completed across Paralimni and the wider area, focusing on infrastructure upgrades, social facilities and public spaces aimed at improving everyday life for residents.

The largest project was the major upgrade of Kapparis Avenue, alongside the completion of a new children’s club that strengthens family support and childcare services. Additional works included new monuments, improved signage along the coastal pedestrian route, and the renovation of green spaces and local parks.

Beyond Paralimni, significant investments were delivered in neighbouring communities, including a new municipal market, major road improvements, upgraded tourism facilities, a community centre, an events hall and the restoration of local landmarks. Despite challenges following the merger of local authorities, the projects mark an important step toward coordinated development and long-term planning across the region.
