Mesa Chorio is a village that belongs to the district of Paphos and is located around 6 kilometers north east of the city. From a transportation standpoint, Mesa Chorio is connected to the village of Mesogi in the north, and from there, to the city of Paphos. It is also connected to the villages of Anavargos and Armou in the southwest and southeast, respectively.
The village appears to be more recent, having been created during the Turkish occupation years, as it is not mentioned in medieval records. However, there is an archaeological site, possibly dating back to the Prehistoric period. Mesa Chorio is a small community on the outskirts of the city, at an altitude of 315 meters. It provides a stunning view of the region, as well as its beaches. Moreover, it is free from the city life, and is great for people who desire to experience rural life and breathe fresh air every day.
Numerous small eateries and pubs serving traditional Cypriot food can be found throughout the village. In Mesa Chorio you may find elegant houses and villas, as well as contemporary structures with all the comforts. Both locals and foreigners enjoy visiting the Paphos District, which Mesa Chorio belongs to, and as a result this may further increase demand for real estate in the village.
