Agios Therapon is a small, charming village located in the district of Limassol, at a height of 640 meters in the Troodos Mountains and is a part of the wine villages region. It shares borders with the Pano Kyvides, with the community of Souni-Zanatzia to the south, Agios Amvrosios to the northwest, Vouni to the west and southwest, Lofou to the east and south-east, and the Alassa to the northeast. Saint Therapon, who allegedly practiced in the area where the holy water and church are located, gave the community its name.
The village is distinctive because of its folk architecture, its paved roads, while the majority of building have a type of structure with an area used as a warehouse on the first level, and a stone home for residents at the top.
