Cyprus communities celebrate the season with Christmas villages and activities

From 22 November 2025 until 6 January 2026, eight communities across Cyprus will be transformed into festive “Christmas villages” as part of an initiative by the Deputy Ministry of Tourism, now in its fifth year.

Get into the festive spirit at these Christmas villages:

• Agros
• Deryneia
• Kakopetria
• Kalopanagiotis
• Kyperounta
• Lefkara
• Statos-Agios Fotios
• Fikardou

The villages will be decorated for the season and will feature wooden huts selling local products and handicrafts, interactive workshops in crafts and gastronomy, nature activities such as walking and cycling, guided village tours, and other festive surprises. The program aims to attract both local residents and international visitors, enhancing Cyprus’ holiday tourism offerings.
