Tserkezoi is a village that belongs to the district of Limassol and that shares boundaries with the municipality of Limassol on the east, the municipalities of Ypsona and Kato Polemidion on the north, Trachoni on the west, and Asomatos on the south. The settlement has administrative control over a sizable portion of Aplostra Beach (Lady's Mile).
The Circassians who lived in Cyprus in the late 19th century were known by the Greek name Tserkezoi, and that is how the village got its name. Additionally, a large portion of the community's administrative area is located on British Akrotiri Military Base grounds.
