Asgata is a village situated in the district of Limassol, about 26 kilometers from the city and 150 meters above sea level. It shares a boundary with Pentakomo to the south, Monagroulli to the southwest, Vasa Kellakiou to the west and north, Ora to the northeast, and Kalavasos to the east.
The Twelve Apostles Church, is one of three churches that may be seen while strolling through the village. Additionally, the size of the church of Peter and Paul, which is in the heart of Asgata, demonstrates how quickly the area flourished, before the church of Agia Marina was ultimately constructed in 1990. There is also an Olive Press and Flour Mill Museum, which is situated in Asgata’s heart and began operating in 1920. The flour mill and equipment used in wheat harvesting and grinding are displayed in a different chamber from the olive press that is located in the museum's hallways. What is more, Asgata is proud of its magnificent community library and one of Cyprus' most stunning squares.
