Fikardou village is situated some 40 kilometers southwest of Nicosia and can be found nestled on the southeast slope of the Troodos Mountains. It is a traditional settlement with an age-old history. The church within the village, devoted to the two Apostles Peter and Paul, is from the 18th century. Until recently, it had been closed and only used for the celebration on June 29th.
